Philippa and Neil had always dreamed of what life might be like in the historical boathouse overlooking the lake, but would never have guessed that they might one day be its proud owners. The family moved to this area because it was commutable from London, yet felt rural, and was a part of Surrey that Philippa had known well as a child, having grown up in the neighbouring village.
